Nur76 is a popular skin lightening product that was developed in the United Kingdom. After receiving mentions in several large TV spots and radio interviews throughout the UK it quickly became a very popular cream. It’s all natural based (so no nasty irritants like hydroquinone or other possibly harmful chemicals) and is intended to be used to lighten up dark spots, fade scars, correct skin affected by melasma or chloasma, lighten dark underarms or knees, and more.
The official website claims that Nur76 is useful and effective on all skin tones including Caucasian, African-American, Asian, Indian, and any other ethnicity. It is also safe for use on any part of the body and works for individuals with normal, dry, oily, or even sensitive skin.
How it Works
Just like most other products available that are designed to reduce darkened skin patches, Nur76 uses a blend of natural extracts and other components to slowly cease the over-production of melanin, which produces the pigments in your skin. After using the product for an extended period of time (the official website states that the best effects are seen after 2-3 months of use) you’ll notice dark areas start to fade and new, correctly-colored skin will take its place.
Unfortunately the Nur76 website doesn’t go into much detail about the ingredients in their product (which is a slight turn-off to be honest) but it does say that the majority of its composition consists of natural plant extracts. It’s just a shame that the full list of ingredients isn’t available. This is vital information that should be easily accessible for any cosmetic product.
The only place we found true consumer reviews of Nur76 was on Amazon’s UK site. There the product received an average rating of 4 out of 5 stars which is pretty admirable. A few bad reviews stated they used the product for a few weeks or up to a month and saw little to no results form doing so. But, you also have to keep in mind that the official site does say that full results won’t be seen until 2 to 3 months of daily use.
Want something better? The 2 best skin lighteners available right now are Meladerm Pigment Reducing Complex and Skinception Illuminatural, both are great products that provide real results quickly and provide much more bang for your buck.
