Ambi Fade Cream is a rather cheap product designed to help decrease the appearance of dark spots on the skin. This cream is sold in most pharmacies such as Walgreens and CVS which is one of the main reasons it is popular. There are 2 different versions of the product, one is designed for people with normal skin while the other is formulated to work for individuals with oily skin.
Ambi Fade Cream Review
How it Works
Ambi Fade Cream works by targeting the melanin in the epidermis to slow the production of dark pigmented cells. This leads to a gradual fading of the dark areas on the skin. As with all other c reams it is a topical treatment that is applied daily. The official website for the product states that customers can expect to see visible results after 2 weeks of use but must continue using the product and stay out of the sun to see its full effects.

Ingredients
The primary skin bleaching agent found in the Ambi whitening cream is Hydroquinone. While this ingredient is known to operate as a very effective skin whitener it is also banned in many European countries and other places in the world. Why? Because it is believed to be linked to certain types of cancer and other serious side effects.
These links have only been confirmed in mice & rats used during testing but that was still enough for the chemical to get banned in many countries. It is still allowed to be used in cosmetics in the United States and a few other countries because the results of testing have been inconclusive.

Other ingredients found in this product include:
- Vitamin E
- Alpha Hydroxy Acid
- Octinoxate
Vitamin E helps to moisturize and further smooth out and soften the skin. Alpha Hydroxy is used in combination with Hydroqinone to make it an even more potent skin lightener. Octinoxate is a simple sunscreen but is in a very small concentration in Ambi Fade Cream.
Ambi Customer Reviews
As with other popular brands of skin lightening products, Ambi Fade Cream has been given many mixed reviews across the Internet. Most of the well known websites that house 100s of customer reviews for products gave this cream an average rating between 3 and 3.5 stars.

A lot of customer complain saying that they don’t understand why the product was ever given a good review after seeing absolutely no change in their skin tone. Others have left comments saying that it does work to an extent and only after using the product for 2 months or longer.
If you want better & faster results you should try using either Illuminatural 6i or Alchimie Forever skin lightening serum. Both are more expensive than Ambi but are far better in terms of skin lightening capabilities and both have much better reviews all around.
